Privacy and Cookie Policy

Privacy Policy Statement

Kaamar Limited is committed to ensuring your privacy by collecting only the minimum amount of personal information, keeping it securely, and using it only for essential business functions.

This is the Privacy and Cookie Policy for the Kaamar Limited web sites, including the web domains Kaamar.co.uk, Kaamar.com and FreePhoto.World.

We are aware of our responsibilities under the Data Protection Act (2018) and will only use your information lawfully. In particular, we will not transfer your information outside the UK or to any third parties (other than those essential to our business as detailed below) without your prior consent.

Full contact details for Kaamar Limited are available at Contact Us or we can be contacted by email: sales@kaamar.co.uk.

Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text-only data packages sent by web sites to your browser, returned to the website on each visit or page change. There are two general ways to use a cookie: as a Persistent Cookie which your browser will save as a file on your computer and can be used to store all sorts of information (including personal information), or as a Session Cookie which your browser will only store temporarily during your visit to a site, until the browser is closed.

We only use Session Cookies which are strictly necessary to the operation of our sites, and are essential for you to use the functions of our sites.

We use two cookies:- one cookie, called KaaSID or KaSID, contains a unique identifier (a Session ID) for your visit to our site (the equivalent of "today's customer No. 15"). The other cookie we use is called .ASPXFORMSAUTH (an encrypted Authentication Cookie) which is created when you log on to your account.

Both of our cookies are specific to the site you are visiting and contain no personal information that can be used to identify you. Both cookies will expire and be deleted when you close your browser.

Cookie Usage

The Session ID is used by the site to link together your previous actions on the site, so that you can see the result from your actions, such as after pressing buttons or adding items to a shopping cart. Most of our site can be browsed without a Session ID, however you will not be able to interact with the site (design a mosaic, add anything to your shopping cart, complete a purchase etc.) or use any of the site functions.

The Authentication Cookie is used to maintain your logged-on status as you use the site, and to secure access to your account details.

If your browser is unable to handle cookies, or is not being allowed to by the privacy or security settings of the browser or third party security software, you will need to change those settings to allow cookies for our site if you wish to interact with the site.

Links to other websites

This site contains links to other sites. Kaamar Limited is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites.

Like many other sites, we allow links to reputable third-party companies so they can add their useful functions or content to our web pages, for example PayPalTwitter, Facebook, Google and others.

These third-party companies may collect certain anonymous information when you visit our websites. These companies may use non-personally identifiable information during your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services likely to be of greater interest to you. These companies typically use a cookie or a third party web beacon to collect this information. To learn more about this behavioral advertising practice, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative.

Managing Cookies

Most browsers have settings that allow you to choose which cookies your browser is allowed to use (for instructions refer to your browser Help). Your choice can usually differentiate between First Party (eg. ours) and Third Party cookies, may have an option for allowing Session Cookies, and can usually be set on an individual site basis (as well as the default behaviour).

To use the functionality of our sites you need to enable First Party and/or Session Cookies cookies for our site. By using our site with your browser settings allowing use of our First Party/Session Cookies you are giving explicit permission for us to use those cookies to provide you with our site functions.

Third Party cookies are those used by third-party companies to add their useful content to our web pages and for behavioral advertising - if you block these cookies their content may not function correctly.

For more information about online behavioural advertising, including how to opt out, please visit the Digital Advertising Alliance and your online choices (Europe), or for more information on cookies and how they are used see AllAboutCookies.

Information Automatically Logged

Statistical analysis of the performance of our web site is an important tool for improving our services and marketing. When visiting our site your browser will send a variety of information with your page and other requests which may include, amongst others, your IP (Internet Protocol) address, information about your browser and the referrer (which site link or search engine brought you to our site).

Some of this information is used by our site to ensure that you are only sent page content that your browser will accept and display correctly, while some of this information is automatically logged for statistical analysis so we can monitor and improve our sites.

Our site is secured using an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption standard Certificate. Whenever you are entering or displaying personal information your browser will display a page address starting with https://, and will usually display a secure symbol such as a padlock, with options to view the certificate details.

This has two functions - firstly it confirms that you are actually on our site, as your browser will check our certificate with the internet Trusted Certification Authorities to verify that our site is registered with this certificate. Secondly, your browser will use the certificate to encode and decode information passing to and from our site, such that no-one else on the internet can intercept and read your private details.
